Backgammon Board
African Mahogany · Harlequin Diamonds

The Design
A Game Worth Playing
Backgammon is one of the oldest games still played. Five thousand years of rolling dice and moving pieces. A board like this honours that history while demanding to be used, not displayed.
The diamond points are a departure from tradition. Sporting the harlequin style diamonds takes the imagination to a medieval setting where aristocratic feasts, laughter and games were plentiful.
Bespoke proportions. Foldable with storage for pieces. Built for play on the move.
The Craft
Gilded and Engraved
Each point houses a set of burn engraved and gold leafed harlequin diamonds decreasing in size according to the golden ratio, creating a visual rhythm that guides the eye around the board.
The case is solid mahogany with brass hinges and clasp. The playing surface is protected when folded, and the board lies perfectly flat when open.
Finished with hard wax oil. The surface is smooth enough for pieces to slide and be placed with ease.
